My name is Laura Decker.  I’m the owner of Laura’s Classy Canines.  My goal has been to help owners take care of their dogs by offering a loving professional place where they can go for all their dogs needs.  I have been a certified professional dog groomer for 16 years.  I have owned my own grooming salon for 12 of those years and have taught and trained many other groomers.  I am a proud member of the Ontario Dog Groomers Association which helps me stay up to date on all the latest trends.  I continue to educate myself to serve my customers better.

 

I was born and raised in the Riverside area.  Growing up I always knew I wanted to work with dogs. In 2004 I graduated as a Registered Veterinary Technician from St. Clair College.  I then decided to further my education in the animal field by completing a certified dog grooming course in Ottawa.  After 2 years working as a Veterinary Technician I found my passion for grooming was greater.  In 2008 I opened my first salon and have loved everything about this career ever since.

 

My team and I have worked really hard researching the latest health and safety for daycares, the most nutritional food and treats on the market, the highest quality grooming products to benefit your dogs coat and skin, the best nutritional supplements to help your dog with health issues and most of all the best ways to provide a safe cage free environment for all the dogs to enjoy.
